How to create a ventilation report
A ventilation report documents the operation of the ventilation installations over a period. It has a stricter period requirement than the other reports: at least 2 months.
How to create a ventilation report
- Open the building you want to work on. See How to switch building and search for a building.
- Go to Reports in the sidebar.
- Choose Ventilation report.
- In the Create ventilation report dialog, select the Period.
- Confirm.
You get the message Report ordered.
The period requirement
The description in the dialog says it: The report period must be at least 2 months.
Choose shorter and the message tells you how short: The report period must be at least 2 months. You selected {n} days. If the period is missing entirely: Select a period.
Note: Two months isn't an arbitrary requirement. A ventilation report assesses operating patterns — running hours, heat recovery, air volumes over time — and those patterns don't exist in a few weeks of data.
If the building has no ventilation data
If the building has no ventilation data at all, the message says This building has no ventilation data. Contact support if needed.
If data exists but not in the period you chose: No ventilation data for selected period: {from} - {to}. Then it's the period that needs changing, not the building that's missing something.
If generation fails, the message says Couldn't generate report. Try again.
What the report is called
In the report list it appears as Ventilation report {from} - {to}, with the Report type set to Ventilation report.

Which period should I choose?
At least two months, but in practice a quarter or half-year is more informative. The list has ready-made options like Last {n} months, First half of {year} and Second half of {year}.
Can I get the report in English?
A language choice exists for the indoor climate report. For the other reports the document follows the standard setup — see How to create an indoor climate report for the report with its own language option.
What if the report fails?
The status becomes Failed, and you can use Retry in the list.
Tip!
Order the ventilation report for a whole quarter rather than two months. The requirement is two, but a quarter covers a complete operating season — and the difference in effort for you is nil, since both are one click in the period picker.
