How to see analysis data as a table
If the figures from an analysis need to go into a spreadsheet or a report, download the data rather than reading it off the graph.
How to download analysis data
- Open the building you want to work on. See How to switch building and search for a building.
- Open the analysis under Analysis > Timeseries graph.
- Click Download data for the selected period.
- Wait while it says Downloading…
You get a file with one sheet per timeseries. The summary describes the contents: This analysis report contains {n} sheet(s) with data. Each sheet exports all datapoints for the selected timeseries in the period {from} to {to}.
Note: The export contains all datapoints in the period, not a summary. With hourly values across a year that's many thousands of rows per series — choose the period based on what you actually need before downloading.
The columns in the export

Table or statistics?
Two different needs:
- If you need the single figures — min, max, average, sum — the statistics are quicker than downloading and calculating yourself. See How to see statistics for a timeseries.
- If you need every row to calculate further, build your own charts or supply an appendix, the download is right.

Frequently asked questions
Does the download follow the period I selected?
Yes — that's exactly why the button is called Download data for the selected period. Change the period before downloading if you need a different span.
Are hidden series included?
The export covers the selected timeseries in the analysis. To keep a series out, remove it from the analysis rather than merely hiding it — see How to add several timeseries to an analysis.
Can I get the data at a different time interval?
The export gives the datapoints as they're stored. For coarser resolution, aggregate in the spreadsheet afterwards.
Why is the file empty?
There are no datapoints in the period. Check Time of last datapoint in the statistics.
Tip!
Download one series at a time when comparing two buildings in a spreadsheet. One file per series is easier to line up against each other than one file with many sheets you have to cut from.
