How to filter indoor climate by sub-building and floor
The indoor climate table gets long in a building with many rooms. Three tools make it manageable: search, filtering by Building and Floor, and Hide inactive.
How to search for a room
Type into Search for room at the top of the page. The search matches room names, so it's the fastest route when you know which room you're after.
How to filter by sub-building and floor
- Open the building you want to work on. See How to switch building and search for a building.
- Go to Indoor climate in the sidebar.
- Choose the sub-building or zone in the Building filter.
- Choose the floor in the Floor filter.
The table now shows only the rooms in that selection. This is how you do a round floor by floor without hunting through one long list.
How to hide rooms without measurements
Switch on Hide inactive. Rooms with no active sensor values disappear from the table.
Note: Hide inactive makes the table shorter, but it also hides rooms where the sensor has stopped working. If you're going through the building to find out what lacks coverage, switch the filter off β the empty rows are precisely what you're looking for then.
How to combine the filters
The filters work together, and they work together with sorting. A common workflow:
- Filter by Floor.
- Sort by CO2 by clicking the column header.
- Look at the top of the list.
You now have the worst-ventilated rooms on that floor, at the top.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the Floor filter empty?
Floor hasn't been registered on the rooms. The floor comes from the room information β see How to edit room information.
Are the filters kept if I leave the page and come back?
Don't count on it. Set the filters again if you return later.
Can I see only the rooms I'm keeping an eye on?
Yes, mark them as favorites and sort by the Favorite column. See How to mark rooms as favorites.
Can I filter by room type?
You can sort by the Type column, so all rooms of the same type end up together.
Tip!
Filter to one floor at a time when doing physical rounds of the building. The screen is then in the same order as you move, and you avoid looking up every room in a list covering the whole building.
