How to see energy data as a table
The graph shows the development; the table shows the numbers. To read a single day precisely, or to take the figures elsewhere, switch to the table view.
How to see energy data as a table
- Open the building you want to work on. See How to switch building and search for a building.
- Go to Energy > Energy consumption in the sidebar.
- Select the period and resolution.
- Click Show table in the top right.
Click Show graph to go back.
The table follows the period and resolution you've selected, so one row per hour, day, week or month.
The columns
Column | Contents |

Temperature | outdoor temperature in the same span |
Operative | whether the building was in operation |
Total | the energy use |
At the bottom sits a Total row with the sum for the whole period.
In Energy comparison there are additional columns for both periods — Date A and Date B, Total A and Total B — plus the Difference between them. See How to compare energy use against another period.
How to clear away empty columns
Click Hide empty columns to remove columns without data. The button changes to Show empty columns, which brings them back.
Useful in the comparison view, where a period with no meter readings otherwise leaves empty columns running through the whole table.
Why the temperature column is worth reading
Temperature sits next to consumption on every row, and it's often the entire explanation for a jump. If you see a day with unusually high consumption, check the temperature for that day before hunting for a fault — a cold spell usually accounts for it by itself.

Why are some rows empty?
There are no meter readings for those spans.
Can I see the table for one meter at a time?
The table shows the selected meter. Switch meters under Selected meter — see How to choose which energy meters the graph shows.
Is there an equivalent for water?
Yes, the water view has the same table and download function.
Tip!
Switch to Per day before opening the table when you're looking for a single day. Hourly resolution across a month produces over seven hundred rows — the graph is the tool for finding the day, and the table for reading it off.
