How to view the portfolio on a map
Map shows your portfolio's buildings plotted geographically, coloured by a KPI you choose. It's the quickest route to a building when you roughly know where it is but not what it's called — and the only view that shows geographical patterns across the portfolio.
How to open the map
Click Show on map in the sidebar at portfolio level. The page is called Organization Portfolio Map.
How to choose which KPI the map shows
- Open Select KPI.
- Choose the key figure.
Your choice appears as KPI: above the map, and the buildings are coloured by value. That shows you the distribution across the portfolio at a glance, rather than reading a table row by row.
How to open a building from the map
Click the building on the map. The card shows the Name and Address, and Go to the building takes you there.

The map is good at what the table can't do: showing that the highest-consuming buildings sit clustered in one region, or that a building you thought was nearby is actually two hours away. For planning physical rounds it's often the most practical view.
Note: The map only shows buildings you have access to, and only buildings with a registered position. If a building is missing entirely, it's either access or the address that isn't in place — not the map.
Frequently asked questions
Why are some buildings uncoloured?
The building has no data for the KPI you've selected. If it's many of them, check whether the KPI requires a floor area — see How to change building settings.
Can I filter the map?
The selection follows the portfolio you have access to. To narrow to a specific set of buildings, the organization dashboard with My groups is better suited.
Is there a map at building level?
No, the map is a portfolio view. Inside a building, Floor plan is the geographical view — see How to create a floor plan.
Can I share the map?
Share the page's link with a colleague who has access to the same buildings.
Tip!
Switch KPI a couple of times while looking at the map. One KPI shows where consumption is high; another shows where it's high per square metre, and those are rarely the same buildings. That difference is easy to see on a map and hard to see in a table.
